Yoga Day

This morning, I kept debating if I should run because my legs were feeling a bit tired and sore. Jason was my voice of reason and told me to take the day off, and I followed along with my favorite video featuring yoga for runners on Youtube. Sometimes, it's good to take a break and just rest up in order to be stronger for another day.
My prayer for you was one for rest and that you can give yourself the freedom to take breaks when you need them...
Here's my favorite translation of Matthew 11 which is a classic verse about rest.

Matthew 11:28-30 The Message (MSG)

28-30 “Are you tired? Worn out? Burned out on religion? Come to me. Get away with me and you’ll recover your life. I’ll show you how to take a real rest. Walk with me and work with me—watch how I do it. Learn the unforced rhythms of grace. I won’t lay anything heavy or ill-fitting on you. Keep company with me and you’ll learn to live freely and lightly.”

May you keep company with God and experience these unforced rhythms of grace little by little through your days....
